Dental Assisting National Board
The Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) is the nationally recognized certification organization for dental assistants. Founded in 1980, more than 37,000 dental assistants are currently DANB-certified nationwide. DANB, a nonprofit organization, is a member of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence. DANB's CDA and COA certification programs are accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
